I am currently working on updating as many plug-ins as possible to 64bit versions.
Many people have the idea that Samsara Cycle Audio is a team of people creating plugins when it's really only myself with limited resources and spending countless late night hours working to design and test my plugins to release for free. 
Overall, though, I feel like this is a change for the better, especially now that we've got high-quality options like the LABS plugins.
The free strings VST landscape has changed quite a bit in recent years, especially compared to other categories of VST plugins where many legacy plugins are alive and well.
